Nate Blakeslee is a writer-at-large for Texas Monthly. His first book, Tulia, was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2005 and described by the Washington Post as one of the most important books about wrongful convictions ever written. His second book, American Wolf, was named a Best Book of 2017 by Outside Magazine and a Best Science Book of 2017 by Science Friday. Blakeslee lives in Austin, Texas, with his family.
