J. Ryan Stradal
J. Ryan Stradal is the author of the New York Times bestselling novel Kitchens of the Great Midwest, the 2017 One Book South Dakota. A Minnesota native, Stradal lives in Los Angeles, where he is an editor-at-large at Unnamed Press, fiction editor at The Nervous Breakdown and co-producer and host of the literary/culinary series Hot Dish. He has worked as a TV producer, notably for the History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers and Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch.
