Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as her Minnesota surroundings and Irish storytelling traditions, Sarah Stonich has written several critically acclaimed novels, including 2013’s Vacationland. A sequel, Laurentian Divide, will be released in September. Stonich has been awarded a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship and a Loft McKnight Fellowship, among others. The founder of, she lives in Minneapolis and spends summers in northeastern Minnesota.
