Betty Jo Huff has lived in South Dakota since she was a high schooler and has attended many writing conferences in the Black Hills. These experiences, along with encouraging teachers, led her to pursue her passion for storytelling. For several years, she also taught preschool, which provided the inspiration for her new book, But Nana, Who Was Wild Bill? Huff has a wonderful husband who supports her dreams, three adult children and a stepson who has blessed her with six grandchildren.
