Tracy Nelson Maurer has written more than 100 books for children, including the recent picture-book biographies and Junior Library Guild Selections Samuel Morse, That’s Who! and John Deere, That's Who! A graduate of Hamline University’s MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults, Maurer lives near Minneapolis. She’s curious about everything and knows many fun facts, like which letter of the alphabet people use most often (“E”, if you’re the curious type, too.)
