Marcie Rendon is a citizen of the White Earth Nation. Her novel Girl Gone Missing is the second in the Cash Blackbear series. The first, Murder on the Red River, received the Pinckley Women’s Debut Crime Novel Award and was a Western Writers of America Spur Award Finalist for Contemporary Novel. Rendon has published two children’s books, Pow Wow Summer and Farmer’s Market, and four plays.As the producer behind Raving Native Theater, she curates community-created performances like Art Is…CreativeNativeResilience, which aired on Twin Cities Public Television in June.
