Carson Vaughan
Carson Vaughan is a freelance journalist who writes frequently about the Great Plains and has a weird obsession with cowboy poetry. His work has appeared in the New Yorker, The New York Times, The Guardian, The Paris Review Daily, Outside, The Atlantic, and more. Zoo Nebraska: The Dismantling of an American Dream is his first book. A native of Broken Bow, Nebraska, he now lives with his wife and dog in Chicago.
