Norma C. Wilson is a Tennessee native who published her first poems in the 1970s as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Upon completing a PhD in English there, she taught at the University of South Dakota for 27 years, receiving the Belbas-Larson Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2001 and presenting the Harrington Lecture in 2004. Frog Creek Road, Wilson’s latest book of poems, chronicles 35 years with family, friends and the flora and fauna surrounding the prairie bluff home where she lives with her writer husband, Jerry.
