Cody Dodge Ewert is an associate editor at the South Dakota Historical Society Press and a historian of culture and politics in the Progressive-Era United States. Raised near Power, Montana, he earned BA and MA degrees at the University of Montana and a PhD in American History from New York University. A contributor to Equality at the Ballot Box: Votes for Women on the Northern Great Plains, Ewert has published several articles on the history of education in America and is revising a manuscript based on his dissertation.
