Marc C. Johnson, a South Dakota State University graduate, has worked as a broadcast journalist, primarily with Idaho Public Television, and as a communication and crisis management consultant. He is a regular columnist for the Lewiston Tribune and a frequent contributor to the blog Many Things Considered. Johnson’s latest book, Tuesday Night Massacre, explores how independent expenditure campaigns helped upend American politics after 1980, and his book Political Hell-Raiser was a Western Writers of America Spur Award finalist.
