Martin John Garhart, author ofLearning to Draw – Drawing to Learn, has worked as an artist – teaching, making and showing his images – for 40 years. His works reside in more than 40 institutions worldwide, including the British Museum, the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institute. A Professor Emeritus of Art at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, Garhart now splits his time between his cabin/studio in the Black Hills and his home/studio in Powell, Wyoming.
