Patrick Hicks has written nearly a dozen books, including poetry and essay collections and the critically and popularly acclaimed novel The Commandant of Lubizec. He was recently a finalist for an Emmy, and he hosts Poetry from Studio 47 on South Dakota Public Radio. A dual citizen of Ireland and America, Hicks is Writer-in-Residence at Augustana University and a faculty member at the MFA program at Sierra Nevada College. His latest book is Library of the Mind: New & Selected Poems.
