Marilyn Johnson is the author of three non-fiction books: Lives in Ruins (about archaeologists), This Book Is Overdue! (about librarians) and The Dead Beat (about obituary writers). She and her husband, writer/editor Rob Fleder, are long-time friends of the South Dakota Festival of Books. She speaks frequently about libraries, books and the craft of writing, and is currently working on a memoir.
