Jim Reese is associate professor of English and director of the Great Plains Writers’ Tour at Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota, and editor-in-chief of 4 PM Count. His honors include an Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award. Reese is one of six artists-in-residence with the National Endowment for the Arts’ interagency initiative with the Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Prisons and a contractual education instructor for the South Dakota Department of Corrections Writing for Reentry Program.
