David Abrams

David Abrams’ debut novel about the Iraq War, Fobbit, was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2012 and featured in B&N's Discover Great New Writers program. His 20-year career as a journalist in the active-duty Army took him to multiple countries, including Iraq, and informs much of his fiction, including his latest novel, Brave Deeds. A Pennsylvania native, Abrams holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, blogs about the literary life at The Quivering Pen and lives in Butte, Montana with his wife.
