Joseph A. Amato
Over 35 years at Southwest Minnesota State University, Joseph A. Amato taught history and founded the History Department, the Rural Studies curriculum and the Center for the Study of Local and Regional Studies. His varied publications have focused on European cultural and intellectual history, rural and local history, family history and memoirs, philosophy, poetry and fiction. Buffalo Man is his most recent book and his first novel.
