Make a Difference

Our impact at the Festival of Books increases with volunteer support. Our small staff of six relies on Festival volunteers to support authors, build excitement for presenters, manage background logistics, handle office tasks and greet Festival guests. While volunteers are critical to the Festival's success, volunteering puts you side-by-side with Festival authors and introduces you to other book lovers from around the region.

If you have a weekend or just a few hours to give, contact us at 605-688-6715 or email festival@sdhumanities.org.
