Amy Frykholm

Amy Frykholm is a novelist, poet, and non-fiction writer. Her debut novel, High Hawk, was longlisted for the 2025 PEN/Hemingway Award. Frykholm was raised in Sioux Falls, attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and earned a PhD in Literature from Duke University. A senior editor at The Christian Century magazine, Frykholm hosted the podcast In Search Of. Her journalism and podcasting have won several national awards. In addition to her novel, she has written several non-fiction books.
