Eliza Blue

Eliza Blue is a writer, folk musician, and shepherd living on the short grass prairie of western South Dakota. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, and NPR’s “All Songs Considered.” Blue has published two essay collections and a children’s book, The Adventures of Pearl & Theo, inspired by experiences with her flock of fiber sheep. She is founder and director of the Kithship Collective and Roots & Grass Theater Co., projects devoted to innovative, ecosystem-specific storytelling.
