Authors, Poets Featured at Annual Event
Each year, the South Dakota Festival of Books features more than 50 presenters who speak about their work during solo presentations and panels. The lineup includes writers from various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, history/tribal, poetry, children’s/YA, and writers’ support.
The 2020 Festival will be a hybrid event, with in-person sessions in Brookings Oct. 2-4 and virtual sessions online throughout the fall.
Festival presenters are selected via a competitive process for a limited number of slots, with decisions made between January and May. If you are an author who is interested in being considered to present at the 2021 festival, look for the application on this page next January.
