Ann Bausum
From her home in southern Wisconsin, Ann Bausum writes about history, bringing the past to life for readers of all ages. Her books frequently explore issues of social justice from American history, including her 2019 title for teens and adults, Viral: The Fight Against AIDS in America. Her latest release is a picture book, Moonbeams: A Lullaby Through the Phases of the Moon. In 2017, the Children’s Book Guild of Washington, D.C., honored the body of Bausum’s work with its venerable Nonfiction Award.
