Nancy Bo Flood

Nancy Bo Flood taught for nearly 20 years at Diné College and Northern Arizona University on the Navajo Nation. She worked with Navajo teachers to develop locally meaningful curriculum and with Navajo nonprofits to increase access to books, including through a bookmobile. Flood’s own award-winning books, including The Hogan that Great-Grandfather Built and Cowboy Up! Ride the Navajo Rodeo, celebrate Navajo culture, contemporary life, and the beauty of the desert. Her latest book is Badger Clark: Poetry Wrangler.
