Sebastien de Castell

Sebastien de Castell got a degree in archaeology but left the field almost immediately to work as a musician, ombudsman, interaction designer, fight choreographer, teacher, project manager, actor, and product strategist. Now, each of these fields plays a role in his writing, which includes an acclaimed swashbuckling fantasy series, The Greatcoats, and a YA fantasy series, Spellslinger, nominated for the Carnegie Medal. de Castell lives in Vancouver, Canada with his lovely wife and two belligerent cats.
