• 32-day hike to Mount Everest in Nepal, experience Hindu, Muslim and Sikh hospitality in India

Hispanic culture and history
• Ten different journeys over a thirty-year period

Land of the Dragon
3 ½ months bicycling across China
• Visit Beijing, Hong Kong and other cities to see the growth of modern China
• Visit many colorful ethnic villages, markets and celebrations in the countryside
• Explore Great Wall in eastern mountains and in the western Gobi Desert
• Visit lowland rainforests and the mountains of the Tibetan plateau
• Eat Chinese food three meals a day
• See giant pandas, red pandas, monkeys, camels, yaks, and water buffalo

African Safari
Four-month bicycling safari through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Lesotho
• Leopard, cheetah, crocodiles and penguins – among 35 animal species
• Visit to prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 27 years
• Stay with Himba tribes who have never seen bicycles and enjoy a ride
