Ellen Baker

Ellen Baker is the author of three novels, including The Hidden Life of Cecily Larson, the HarperCollins Lead Read for Winter 2024, an Indie Next pick and a Best New Book for both People and Woman’s World. After growing up in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and South Dakota (and graduating from Brookings High School), Baker fell in love with Maine on a 2010 visit and stayed. A former independent bookseller and museum curator, she offers online courses and coaching for writers.
