Rachael Hanel
Rachael Hanel holds bachelor’s degrees in mass communications and history and a master’s in history from Minnesota State University, and a PhD in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. She lives and writes just outside of Mankato, Minnesota. Hanel is a former newspaper reporter and copy editor and teaches creative writing at Minnesota State University-Mankato. She is the author of more than 20 nonfiction books for children and adults, including Not the Camilla We Knew.
