Allan C. Carlson
Allan C. Carlson holds a Ph.D. in Modern History from Ohio University and has taught at Hillsdale College, Gettysburg College and the Catholic University of America. For two decades he served as Editor of Marriage and Family Studies for Transaction, “the publisher of record in international social science.” His books include The New Agrarian Mind and (as editor) Land and Liberty: The Best of FREE AMERICA. Carlson also wrote the introduction and annotations for the 2024 re-release of O.E. Rolvaag’s classic novel Giants in the Earth.
