All of us at the South Dakota Humanities Council deeply appreciate the support we have received over the past few months. Whether you sent an encouraging message or gave a financial donation, it made a difference to us!
As we continue to fight for the restoration of our federal allocation and to manage our budget responsibly, we are also increasing our fundraising efforts to ensure that the humanities not only survive, but thrive far into the future.
We invite you to join us in those efforts by attending the Impact South Dakota Fundraiser on June 18 in Sioux Falls. Featuring delicious food, book giveaways, and a reading by South Dakota Poet Laureate Bruce Roseland, this gathering will make a real impact for the South Dakota Festival of Books!
