Jeremy Norton
Jeremy Norton, a 24-year veteran firefighter/EMT with the Minneapolis Fire Department, has saved lives and witnessed too many deaths, but has yet to catch a baby. Originally from Washington, D.C., he has taught high school literature in three states and adult creative writing at Minneapolis’ Loft Literary Center. Norton writes about the confluence of individual and systemic issues in our society, particularly the gutter-end of the healthcare system, emergency response and end-of-life issues. Trauma Sponges is his first book.
