Bruce Roseland named South Dakota’s eighth Poet Laureate

Bruce Roseland was named South Dakota’s eighth Poet Laureate in late August and celebrated his selection at the South Dakota Festival of Books September 23 in Deadwood. As the state’s foremost ambassador for poetry, he will travel the state encouraging people from all walks of life to tell their stories in verse.
