Patrick Hicks
Patrick Hicks has authored many books, including Adoptable, In the Shadow of Dora, The Commandant of Lubizec and 2023’s Across the Lake. His work has appeared on NPR, PBS NewsHour, and American Life in Poetry. Hicks has won grants from the Bush Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and he was a finalist for an Emmy. He is the Writer-in-Residence at Augustana University and a faculty member in the MFA program at the University of Nevada-Reno at Lake Tahoe.
