Ann Bausum

Ann Bausum writes about history for readers of all ages from her home in southern Wisconsin. Her latest work, The Bard and The Book, celebrates the remarkable and surprisingly funny story of how the plays of William Shakespeare were saved from oblivion thanks to a 400-year-old book. Bausum’s 18 titles since 2000 have debuted to consistent acclaim, and her body of work was recognized nationally in 2017 by the Children’s Book Guild of Washington, D.C.
