Teen Writers Workshop
A one-time or multi-session event designed to support and encourage young writers in their creative endeavors through creative writing instruction, time and space to explore creative boundaries, and peer collaboration and feedback. Together we discuss aspects of creative writing (such as plot, setting, character development, etc.) with time to write freely and talk about works-in-progress. The workshop structure may fluctuate based on students’ needs and interests, as well as the number of students signed up.

Telling Our Life Stories
Stories are all around us. We hear them, read them, tell them. Every one of us has life stories of our own to tell. For you, it may be memories of childhood, or your mother’s biography. What stories are in you? What in your or your family’s history is worth preserving for future generations? In this presentation, we explore the power of story and how we can use words to create, communicate and connect. Walk away with a clearer idea of the story you want to tell and the tools to help you along the way.

Embracing AI for Creativity
Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere, including in creative writing and marketing. Some people are embracing it and using it to make their jobs and lives easier and more productive. Others resist it, fearing it will replace jobs and unique skillsets. This workshop invites you into a dynamic conversation about how to use AI in professional and everyday life while not losing sight of the importance of human connection. Explore ethical considerations around AI and its footprint, and learn how to use AI in effective and creative ways without compromising your unique voice or personality.
