Finding the Sublime in the Prairie: Pastoral Literature and Midwestern Regionalism in Gilead
This presentation is an adaptation of a conference paper on Marilynne Robinson’s Gilead, wherein Ball explores the unique beauty found on the prairie and in small prairie towns. The presentation can be adapted to a discussion format as well, and expand beyond the novel.

A Tale of Two Farms: Stories of Survival and Sustainability in North Dakota
This presentation is an adaptation of a conference paper/presentation that details the evolution of the farms in my family. It can be adapted to a discussion format or writing workshop.
